About me
After a stint in TV news at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) I went freelance as a film and video editor, and as a producer of movie trailers, forming Cogent Productions along the way.
As an editor I discovered a love of documentaries. And so I was tempted into thinking I could produce and direct them as well. This led to teaming up with Benger Productions and twenty years as documentary production company with the moniker Cogent/Benger Productions. The first film I directed was on the elusive wolverine.
Many years back I had a darkroom, developing and printing my photos. Returning to photography, now digital, has allowed me to cultivate an old love.
